Native Texan songwriter and folk artist M Renee Suaste grew up in Wharton. Her thoughtful spirit and deep connection to her Latina roots shine through in her songwriting with brilliant guitar execution and exceptional performance. Renee returned to the stage in May 2025, with a year of opening for local and California acts at venues including New World Deli, The Cigar Vault Buda, and the legendary Hole in the Wall. She is actively writing new material depicting rich stories that reflect both her heritage and our broader Texas community. Renee is working on an immediate goal to record her music stemming from a recent reflection period, emerging from the transformation of loss that life brings, Her sound gives a calm, joy, and introspective peace.
Renee is pursuing placement of her music in radio, television, and film.
